Wrench's high-quality auto repair and maintenance services wouldn't exist without our incredible mobile technicians, otherwise known as mobile mechanics. That's why we want to give each technician the recognition they deserve for all the hard work they put into making Wrench what it is. As a way of saying "Thank You" to our technicians and introducing them to our customers, we are spotlighting one technician a week!

Wrench is back to celebrate the hard work and dedication from another technician, Andy W. Andy services our customers in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area, so if you are living in or visiting Phoenix and need an auto repair or maintenance service from us, you might be lucky enough to get an appointment with him! Andy is a fantastic technician and he will definitely give your beloved vehicle the attention and care that it deserves.

Andy has been in the automotive industry for a very long time, 25 years to be exact! In those 25 years, he has spent the last 3 years working with Wrench. Three years adds up to a LOT of service calls!

He became interested in the automotive industry at a very young age, and even took apart his first bicycle before he learned how to ride it!

When Andy was younger, he says his dad was the person that got him interested in the automotive industry.

"My father fostered that love for wrenching and helped me rebuild my first engine when I was 12. It was a 1975 Triumph TR7."

Here at Wrench, we are all very glad that Andy was able to discover his love for wrenching because we got a fantastic technician!

After 3 years with Wrench, we wanted to know what is his favorite part about working for Wrench. Being a mobile tech rather than having to be stuck in a single shop all day has its benefits. Andy loves being able to work directly with our customers.

Although he has many memorable stories from working with our customers, his most exciting service call was when he was scheduled to help a customer with their 1937 Cadillac Lasalle. That customer had recently purchased the car from the Barret Jackson Classic Car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.

After you have logged in or opted to book your auto repair appointment as a guest, we will need to know the year, make, and model of your car as well as the VIN and license plate numbers. Then you will choose which services you'd like our mobile mechanic to perform such as an oil change, tire rotation, or battery replacement! If you don't know what service your car needs, book a diagnostic appointment and our mobile mechanic will figure out the issue and help you find the best way to fix it.

Finally, we will give you an honest auto repair quote for your services, including both a time and cost estimate, so you can make the best decision for you. At that point, you will let us know which date, time, and location works best for your personal schedule and routine.
